Three years ago I was diagnosed with a slow progressing bone marrow cancer called myelofibrosis. It created a number of blood anomalies and it enlarged my spleen. By walking back my symptoms (insomnia was first), I am guessing I had this cancer since about 2000; the symptoms were slight. I was diagnosed because I had what turned out to be a terrible abdominal infection. After the hospital stay, drugs and procedures my blood counts tanked and I felt terrible for a half year. Then I started low CBD cannabis oil. That made a huge difference in controlling fatigue and pain. Life was good again. After two years my symptoms progressed but I was still better off. About a half year ago I added hemp derived CBD oil. It helped even more with the pain, gave me energy like I had 5 years ago and increased my sleeping. I used to average less than four hours a night; now I sleep almost six hours a night. Unfortunately, this is not curing me; my blood counts are still in the toilet. Why? First, cannabis does not always cure cancer. I am guessing I do about 1/10 gram of cannabis oil and ½ gram of the CBD oil. I don’t really know what is involved in the CBD CO2 extraction process but I am guessing I am not getting enough of the other cannabinoids. Also, I can only get so much regular cannabis. So I am happy but not done. I am hoping to score a large amount of cannabis and properly make the oil; currently I just slowly cook the flower into coconut oil. If I can get a large amount of cannabis (it would likely be low CBD) I would build up to 3/4 gram cannabis oil and ½ gram CBD oil. Better yet, would be to find an indica strain with a medicinal reputation.
I gave my golf clubs to my son. After starting the CBD I took them back and I am playing better than I did 15 years ago.
